The other day Megan from Apartment Thrifty Chic tagged me in a super fun chain-type post in which I share 11 random things about myself and then ‘tag’ several friends to do the same. Here are the rules:

The title of this post is a question because it’s something I keep learning and re-learning about myself.  Today is a day of re-learning.  Whether it be slinging coffee or folding baby-sized polo shirts, I want and usually am GOOD at my job.  So far, I’ve been pretty good at this substitute teaching thing.  Frequently I get added to the “favorite sub” lists, get tons of hugs, and usually some sweet artwork when I teach. Totally reminds me of this. I digress.

I probably could have called this “C-c-c-cliche” as my title is oh, so original.  Mr. Bowie’s song title just lends itself so perfectly to what’s been going on over the past couple months.  Anyway, it’s been awhile since either of us posted. For both of us, it’s been a crazy two months of change.  For me, it’s been so much change that I totally forgot about this blog.  Oops!

Work Me vs. Real Me

Recently, Mallory Bower wrote a great post on being openly you.  In one of the comments, Gary Miller referenced his work persona “Game Show Gary.” He said:

“I have a work persona that is much more extroverted and open than I am in nature. My former colleagues who got to know me outside of the office started calling this side of me “Game Show Gary.”
